Ratepayers Sue Over PUC Plan As PG&E Wins Round in Court

SAN FRANCISCO - The Foundation for Taxpayer and Consumer Rights, led by activist Harvey Rosenfield, filed a novel suit Thursday in the state Supreme Court, alleging that the state Public Utilities Commission has acted illegally in creating its own alternative reorganization plan in the Pacific Gas & Electric Co. bankruptcy.
