Senate Ends Filibuster, Clearing Way for Vote on Brown
WASHINGTON - The U.S. Senate voted on Tuesday to end its filibuster on state Supreme Court Justice Janice Rogers Brown, clearing the way for a final yes-or-no vote on her controversial nomination to the U.S. Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia Circuit.
