A federal judge Thursday awarded Bratz manufacturer MGA Entertainment Inc. nearly $310 million in damages, legal fees and court costs in its intellectual property spat with Mattel Inc. over the famous dolls.
U.S. District Judge David O. Carter decided MGA should get $170 million in damages on its allegations that Mattel misappropriated its trade secrets and an additional nearly $140 million in attorney fees and costs....
