Feinstein seeking replacement for Fogel

Senator Dianne Feinstein is actively soliciting applications for a Northern District federal judgeship opening up this fall.

Senator Dianne Feinstein is actively soliciting applications for a Northern District federal judgeship opening up this fall, a spokeswoman for the senator announced Wednesday.

The appointee will replace Judge Jeremy D. Fogel, who leaves in October to become director of the Federal Judicial Center in Washington, D.C. U.S. Supreme Court Chief Justice John G. Roberts appointed Fogel to that position last month.
