Apple, Emblaze trade opening statements in patent trial
Nearly five years after sending a demand letter to Apple Inc. alleging patent infringement, Israeli patent holder Emblaze Ltd. began presenting its case to a federal jury on Monday in hope of winning a large damages award.

Both companies jostled for an early advantage during opening statements before a nine-person jury in the courtroom of U.S. Magistrate Judge Paul S. Grewal.
