'Beastly Ball' raises more than $1.1 M
Veteran entertainment law attorney Ken Ziffren was honored June 14 with the Tom Mankiewicz Leadership Award at the 44th Annual Greater Los Angeles Zoo Association Beastly Ball at the Zoo. The event drew more than 800 people and raised more than $1.1 million to provide funding for zoo exhibits, conservation, capital projects, and outreach programs as well as building endowment funds and operating six essential zoo departments.
