Duo overcomes disability to conquer Boston Marathon

Luis Montiel, an Arent Fox LLP record department coordinator, recently guided a blind companion to finish the Boston Marathon.

Luis Montiel, a record department coordinator at Arent Fox LLP, often spends his weekday lunch hour running through downtown Los Angeles with a blind man.

Montiel and Tony Duenas, who lost his sight in 2008 due to a retina-attacking virus, completed the Boston Marathon last week, running side by side as each held the opposite end of a short tether.
