Judge Fast But Not Furious
MADERA - Superior Court Judge Edward P. Moffat didn't earn the nickname "Fast Eddie" for nothing. The 57-year-old jurist hears on average at least one trial a week on a full criminal calendar. He's well known for his fast-paced courtroom management style, which means attorneys are expected to show up 15 minutes early and line up witnesses in quick succession.
