Gibson Dunn: LONGTIME LABOR LAWYER, RETIRED PARTNER DIES

Retired Gibson Dunn & Crutcher partner Sharp Whitmore died at 83 of congestive heart failure. Whitmore, a labor and employment lawyer, lived in Fallbrook. He was a senior partner and a member of Gibson Dunn's executive committee when he retired in 1981.
