USC Law School Mourns Colleague, Dead at 39
LOS ANGELES - Elliot J. Safirstein, the well-known external relations assistant to Dean Karen Lash of the University of Southern California Law School, died Tuesday at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles of complications from heart surgery. He was 39.
