Lawyers Ask Germany to Probe Possible U.S. War Crimes

WASHINGTON - Lawyers in New York and Germany on Tuesday asked German prosecutors to investigate Secretary of Defense Donald Rumsfeld and nine other high-ranking U.S. officials for war crimes stemming from the abuse of detainees in Iraq's Abu Ghraib prison.
