New Riverside DA Changing Office's Culture

Two months into the job, Paul Zellerbach checked several big goals off his list, including overhauling the office's administration with a new panel of assistants and chiefs and granting attorneys more discretion in resolving cases.

RIVERSIDE - On his first day as Riverside County's district attorney, Paul E. Zellerbach didn't know where his new office suite was.


But this was to be expected, because Zellerbach said the man he unseated recently in one of California's nastiest district attorney's races, Rod Pacheco, refused to meet him and help him transition into the office.
