Attorney May Lose License Over Marriage

A lawyer who married "a lonely, sick old man" should be disbarred and ordered to return $339,000 to his family, a State Bar Court judge ordered.

A Pacifica lawyer who secretly married a dying 85-year-old millionaire and took his money should be disbarred and required to repay more than $339,000 to the man's family, a State Bar Court judge ruled.


In the meantime, the judge placed Linda Nell Lowney on immediate inactive status.
