Berkeley marijuana dispensary stays open, awaiting a 9th Circuit challenge

A long-running Berkeley medical marijuana dispensary can stay open for now, a federal judge ruled, granting a motion to delay its seizure by federal authorities pending an appeal.

A long-running Berkeley medical marijuana dispensary can stay open for now, a federal judge ruled, granting a motion to delay its seizure by federal authorities pending an appeal.


U.S. District Judge Jon S. Tigar stayed his judgment against the Berkeley Patients Group late Friday until the matter goes before the 9th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals.
