Los Angeles settlement judge to retire

Known for his efficiency and quick attentiveness to resolve cases, Superior Court Judge Owen L. Kwong will retire this March.

Known for his efficiency and attentiveness to resolving civil disputes, Los Angeles County Superior Court Judge Owen L. Kwong will retire this March.


Kwong served on the bench for nearly 26 years - he was first appointed to the Los Angeles Municipal Court in 1989 and was elevated to the Superior Court by then-Gov. Pete Wilson in 1993.
