Los Angeles to pay $750,000 to settle lawsuit against LAPD officers

A woman's federal lawsuit accused a police officer of sexually assaulting her while on duty with his partner in 2009.

The city of Los Angeles will pay $750,000 to settle a federal lawsuit accusing an on-duty police officer of sexually assaulting a woman in a patrol car while his partner was present in 2009, after the plaintiff overcame a statute of limitations time bar for filing.
