Product liability case settles during jury deliberations
Medical device company Intuitive Surgical Inc. settled a products liability case with a woman besieged by injuries after a hysterectomy.

On the third day of jury deliberations in a products liability trial, medical device manufacturer Intuitive Surgical Inc. reached a settlement Wednesday with a woman who suffered severe injuries following a hysterectomy.
Terms of the agreement between plaintiff Michelle Zarick and Sunnyvale-based Intuitive were not disclosed.
