Apex Technology Co. Ltd. plans to buy Lexmark International Inc. for $3.6 billion

Apex Technology Co. Ltd. plans to buy Lexmark International Inc., an industry leader in printing devices, for $3.6 billion, the companies announced late Tuesday.

The Chinese acquirer, backed by PAG Asia Capital, relied on an international deal team from Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom LLP & Affiliates. Apex leaned on Wachtell Lipton Rosen & Katz.
