9th Circuit affirms life sentence

The panel affirmed a lower court's sentence of life imprisonment for a defendant convicted of three separate felony drug convictions, despite the defendant having a felony reclassified as a misdemeanor under Prop. 47.

An appellate panel affirmed a lower court's sentence of life imprisonment for a defendant convicted of three separate felony drug convictions, despite the defendant having successfully petitioned to have one of the felonies reclassified as a misdemeanor subsequent the adoption of Proposition 47.
