Firms to receive millions in legal fees from settlement

California-based Pearson Simon & Warshaw LLP and Quinn Emanuel Urquhart & Sullivan LLP were approved for nearly $254 million in legal fees from last fall's $1.87B settlement that claimed the nation's largest banks rigged the credit default swaps market.

Pearson Simon & Warshaw LLP and Quinn Emanuel Urquhart & Sullivan LLP netted nearly $254 million in legal fees as a result of their work in September's mammoth $1.87 billion antitrust settlement, which alleged the nation's largest banks rigged the credit default swaps market.
