Illumina to be sole tenant of BioMed's i3 campus

Illumina will move into BioMed's i3 campus in July 2017, marking the third major lease agreement between the two companies in last 18 months.

Illumina recently signed a 10-year lease for BioMed Realty's i3 campus under construction in the University Towne Centre (UTC) life science market.

Having outgrown its 497,000-square-foot headquarters, Illumina will move into the 316,000-square-foot expansion in July 2017 and will be the sole tenant. With completed office and lab space in Foster City, Calif., and Cambridge, U.K., the deal marks the third major lease agreement between the two companies in the last year and a half.
