Justice Richard M. Mosk has stepped down from the 2nd District Court of Appeal after nearly 15 years on the appellate court.
Mosk was appointed to the 2nd District in 2001 by Gov. Gray Davis. He was retained in 2002 and 2006 by voters.
His retirement was announced by a press release from the state court system Thursday.
