Orrick Herrington: New York's IVillage Buys Rival Women's Network

IVillage Inc. has agreed to acquire Women.com Networks Inc. in a transaction valued at about $47 million. New York's iVillage operates the iVillage Network, which includes iVillage.com, Lamaze Publishing and the Newborn channel. Its iVillage.com site is an online women's network providing information, solutions and support for women 25-54.
