Judge May Name Master To Select Lead Counsel
SAN FRANCISCO - A federal judge, who actively seeks competitive bids for lead counsel in securities class cases, has thrown a new legal curve at lawyers: in any unusual action, he says he may appoint a special master to negotiate lead counsel in the Copper Mountain case.
