Judge Puts More Workers in Pension System

LOS ANGELES - In an unprecedented ruling, a trial court potentially has brought more public-agency employees into the public pension system. The Metropolitan Water District must enroll all of its common-law employees in the state's retirement system, a Superior Court judge has ruled.
