Pardon Doesn't Block Federal Probe of Vitamin Entrepreneur
LOS ANGELES - President Clinton's pardon of a man who sold a bogus hair-loss remedy doesn't preclude prosecutors from filing charges against the Marina del Rey-based herb-and-vitamin entrepreneur for money laundering and tax evasion, the Justice Department officials said.
