Defense in Sex-Crimes DA's Slander Suit Cries Foul
SAN BERNARDINO - The attorney for a Victorville deputy public defender on trial for allegedly defaming a sex crimes prosecutor has filed motions seeking a mistrial and a nonsuit, contending plaintiff's counsel divulged constitutionally privileged information to jurors in opening statements last week.
