Army Agrees to End Explosions

SAN FRANCISCO - The U.S. Army has agreed in a federal court settlement unveiled Tuesday to stop blowing up unwanted bombs, rockets and other munitions at its remote Sierra Army Depot, a practice environmental groups said made the base one of the state's worst air polluters.
