Board OKs $11 Million to Settle 29 Rampart Suits

The Los Angeles Claims Board on Wednesday approved a nearly $11 million settlement of 29 lawsuits filed by alleged victims of corruption in the Rampart division of the Los Angeles Police Department, amid speculation that more such global settlements are in the works.
