Couple Enter Pleas In Court Bribery Case

LOS ANGELES - The owners of a private background investigative service pleaded no contest Wednesday to bribing court clerks to avoid paying more than $150,000 in fees required for computer database searches.

        LOS ANGELES - The owners of a private background investigative service pleaded no contest Wednesday to bribing court clerks to avoid paying more than $150,000 in fees required for computer database searches.
        Alicia Martinez, 30, and Michael Stephenson, 37, face more than six years in state prison when they are sentenced Oct. 4, Deputy District Attorney Anthony Colannino said.
