Bond's Agency Can't Sue Former Agent

LOS ANGELES - Beverly Hills Sports Council cannot sue Barry Bonds' former agent and his lawyers for malicious prosecution, a state appellate court said Thursday.

        LOS ANGELES - Beverly Hills Sports Council cannot sue Barry Bonds' former agent and his lawyers for malicious prosecution, a state appellate court said Thursday.
        Bonds' former agent, Roderic M. Wright, had sued the Beverly Hills Sports Council after the agency lured the star player away in 1992, just months before he signed a $43 million deal with the San Francisco Giants.
