State Prosecutor Always Thought of Friends

LOS ANGELES - Services have taken place for Arpie Balekjian, a deputy state attorney general whose death left dozens of her "best friends" in mourning. Balekjian, who had battled brain cancer since 1998, died Feb. 21 at Glendale Adventist Medical Center. She was 40.
