LOS ANGELES - Seattle's Davis Wright & Tremaine has chosen a Los Angeles lawyer to manage its firmwide operations. Richard Ellingsen became managing partner of the 400-lawyer firm March 5. He was chosen by the firm's 12-member executive committee.
