LOS GATOS' IDENTIX PLANS FOR A VISIONARY MERGER
Identix Inc. and Visionics Corp. agreed to merge on Feb. 22. The stock deal is worth $600 million. Los Gatos-based Identix makes and sells fingerprint identification products that are used to control access to buildings and networks, secure financial transactions and run background checks.
