Prosecutor Still Out Sick as He Awaits Word on Charges

SAN FRANCISCO - As Marin County prosecutors continued to deliberate Monday whether to file charges against a San Francisco prosecutor booked last week after stabbing a man during an argument, independent legal observers said it was unremarkable that he was allowed to remain on the job after admitting to a previous crime of violence - striking his teen-age daughter.
