Skadden Arps: IBEAM SELLS NEWS SERVICE TO TULSA FIBER-OPTICS FIRM

Williams Communications Inc. of Tulsa, Okla., has bought technology assets from Sunnyvale's iBeam Broadcasting Corp. The total value of the purchase was $25 million.

        Williams Communications Inc. of Tulsa, Okla., has bought technology assets from Sunnyvale's iBeam Broadcasting Corp. The total value of the purchase was $25 million.
        Williams operates a nationwide fiber-optic network. The company uses its network to provide voice, video and data transmission services for telecommunications carriers, Internet service providers and utilities.
