Helicopter Reporter Faces Gun Charges
LOS ANGELES - "Captain" Bob Petty, the mustachioed television helicopter news reporter, has been charged with illegally possessing and arranging to sell two machine guns to a federal agent.
Authorities arrested Petty Monday at his Los Angeles home. They released him later that day on a $25,000 bond.
