Procter Hug Will Take Senior Status

RENO, Nev. - Federal appeals court Judge Procter Hug will retire from active service after 24 years on the 9th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals.

        RENO, Nev. - Federal appeals court Judge Procter Hug will retire from active service after 24 years on the 9th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals.
        Hug, a Reno native, notified President Bush on Thursday of his intent to take senior status effective Jan. 1, according to a statement released by U.S. Sens. Harry Reid, D-Nev., and John Ensign, R-Nev.
