The Quiet Man Pulls Off a Licensing Deal

Call him shy, call him modest. Either way, Rod Berman refuses to talk about himself. When asked about his most recent deal for client Cherokee Inc., Berman - a corporate partner at Los Angeles' Jeffer Mangels Butler & Marmaro - deflects much of the conversation from himself to Bobby Margolis, the company's chief executive officer.
