Crash Victim Files Lawsuit Against Airline

A Santa Monica man who was injured in the airplane crash last week in Taiwan sued Singapore Airlines on Tuesday, alleging pilot error. "This crash is a tragic example of bad judgment," attorney Frank M. Pitre said in a prepared statement. Pitre is with the firm Cotchett, Pitre & Simon, the Burlingame law firm that represents John Diaz.
