L.A. Will Pay $11M to Settle 29 Rampart Suits

The city of Los Angeles tentatively has agreed to pay nearly $11 million to settle 29 lawsuits filed by victims of corrupt Rampart division police officers, including a complaint filed by Destiny Ovando, the toddler daughter of Javier Ovando, the first identified victim of the scandal.
