WASHINGTON - Over a 31-year period, Andre Brigham Young has been convicted of six violent rapes. He was released from prison after serving his sentence for each of the first five rapes, but in 1990 that pattern changed. As Young was nearing release on his most recent conviction, Washington state prosecutors filed a petition to confine him indefinitely under the state's Sexually Violent Predator statute.
