Papers Join Battle to Open Tire Documents

Two days after Goodyear Tire & Rubber Co. admitted that the number of deaths and serious injuries related to tread separations in tires it manufactured is substantially greater than previously feared, two Southern California newspapers are joining the court fight to unseal documents that could shed more light on the extent of the potential danger.
