Jimi Hendrix estate wins injunction against competitor

The Jimi Hendrix Foundation can no longer use the guitarist's name or likeness, a district court finds.

Attorneys for the estate of Jimi Hendrix left copyright infringers in a haze, as an attempt by a competing organization and a print artist to lay claim to the legendary guitarist's name and other rights was shut down in federal court.
