Cyber threat info-sharing bill advances
The Senate has finally passed CISA, but differences between the bill's versions still need to be reconciled.

On Tuesday, after several failed attempts to reach agreement last summer, the Senate passed the Cybersecurity Information Sharing Act (CISA) in the form of a manager's amendment on a 74-21 vote. Members will have to reconcile through conference the differences between CISA, introduced by North Carolina Sen. Richard Burr in March, and the House version of the bill, which the House passed last April.
