Placer County courthouse named for former judge

The Judicial Council on Tuesday approved naming a Placer County courthouse after the late Judge Howard G. Gibson, who died in 1986.

The Judicial Council on Tuesday approved naming a Placer County courthouse after the late Judge Howard G. Gibson, who died in 1986.

The courthouse is located in Roseville, where Gibson attended grade school. He joined the U.S. Army in 1942, serving in Europe and North Africa during World War II, according to a prepared release.
