Venable LLP has acquired Los Angeles litigation boutique Weingarten Brown LLP, the latest move in the Washington-based firm's efforts to beef up its capabilities on the West Coast.
Weingarten Brown founder Alex M. Weingarten joins Venable as partner, with six associates, one paralegal and some staff. The acquisition became official June 30.
