Executive retiring from state court

Retired judge Steven Jahr will go back to retirement following a two-year stint spent stewarding reforms to the Administrative Office of the Courts and pushing for increased court funding by the state.

SACRAMENTO - Just days after dropping its name, the Administrative Office of the Courts announced Tuesday it's also saying goodbye to its director.


Retired Judge Steven Jahr, who since 2012 has shepherded the office through a period of reform, said he plans to step down in September.
