Hewlett-Packard resolves shareholder suit by teaming up in litigation
To resolve federal and state lawsuits against HP and many of its executives for the botched acquisition of Autonomy Corp. the Palo Alto-based company has decided it will file its own lawsuits against former Autonomy executives.

SAN FRANCISCO - Lawyers for disgruntled shareholders reached an unusual deal with Hewlett-Packard Co. late Monday.
To resolve federal and state lawsuits against HP and many of its executives for the botched acquisition of Autonomy Corp. that caused a nearly $9 billion loss in late 2012, the Palo Alto-based company has decided it will file its own lawsuits.
