Judicial Council may make e-filing mandatory
The state Judicial Council will consider a proposal to require parties in civil cases file and serve documents electronically.

The state Judicial Council this week will consider a proposal to require parties in civil cases to file and serve documents electronically. The council will also consider approving new forms for parties to request exemptions from mandatory electronic filing, and for courts to use to rule on those requests.
